A Certificate of Analysis, commonly called a COA, is a laboratory document linked to a specific batch. It helps verify whether measured characteristics match information provided about the product.

Start with the batch

The batch number on the certificate should match the batch on the product.

Cannabinoid profile and potency

The report may show CBD, THC and other cannabinoids. Check units carefully and compare them with the label.

Contaminants and traceability

Depending on the laboratory scope, a COA may include heavy metals, residual solvents, pesticides, microorganisms and other parameters. Check laboratory, dates and sample identification.
